  • When should I book a session?
As soon as you know what you would like to do! That way you can ensure you get the time you're looking for. Some locations or themes may dependent on time of year. For Senior portraits, my suggestion is to book your session during your Junior year to ensure you get the date that you want.
  • Where can I get my pictures taken?
I can go anywhere! I have a studio located just off I-25 and Dry Creek Rd. in Centennial Colorado. I can go on location anywhere you would like. If you're looking for ideas you can check out my galleries or social media and let me know which area interests you. If you have another location in mind, that's fine too! I can go local or anywhere else you choose, I've been all over the US for photoshoots.
  • Can I bring a change of clothes, and if so where can I change?
Yes you can bring as many changes of clothes time allows durning your session. Be prepared to turn your car into a dressing room, or use my pop up changing tent! Locations don’t always have a public restroom. Some locations have bushes you can go behind, be sure you have a lookout!
  • What should I wear?
Bring a suitcase full of options! I LOVE to help with outfits! We can talk about what you like and don’t like and put together your outfits. Your photos should represent YOU, and everyone is different! Your outfits should be what you feel beautiful wearing!  I encourage a change of clothing that reflects your personal style. Casual is always a great selection, as frequently I will photograph seniors on the ground, steps, tree stumps... Clothing should be simple. Solid colors work generally best. If there are two or more people in the same photograph, similar colors or shades are preferable. Denim with white or black shirts can be very dramatic. Sometimes wild colors can be GREAT too! It all depends on what you're looking for! Bringing options always it the best option.
  • Do digital files or retouching come with my session?
My sessions come with the digital files from the session and a print release so you may print them on your own if you like. They will have a basic crop and color adjustment. Once you have viewed your images, depending on your package, you can let me know which images you would like retouched, once retouched they will be available for download. Normal retouching includes removing blemishes, stray hairs, fixing bumps in clothing, softening wrinkles... whatever you would like! If you images come back and there has not been enough or too much, just let me know and I'll fix it for you! Extensive retouching like changing or adding backgrounds will incur additional charges by quote.
  • Can I get portrait prints from you?
Yes! I'd be happy to help you with that. I can get just about anything you could want. I offer high quality print from professional labs around the country that can be shipped directly to your door. If I make your prints for you, there is no need to worry about print quality, I stand behind my work completely. Printing on your own can cause a lack of quality control, which I can't be responsible for. My favorites are float mounted wall size aluminum prints!
  • I haven't been in front of the camera much can you help me pose?
You bet! Very few seniors are professional models, most of my images are just normal seniors and they all do great! I will show you poses and give you direction, so that you know exactly what to do. After a few minutes, you should feel comfortable in front of the camera and you will probably be coming up with your own poses! When that happens, those can be the best poses of the entire session!
  • Do you submit my senior portrait to the school?
No, I do not turn in the images to the school for the yearbook. Once you let me know which image you would like for the yearbook I will retouch and size it for you. It is your responsibility to turn it in.
  • What happens if it rains the day of my session?
If there is bad weather we will reschedule! Bad weather can be rain or wind We will stay in close contact leading up to your session, and make the call before your session.
  • When can I see the images from my session?
They are available for download within 48 hours of your session, but are usually MUCH QUICKER!
  • I have some more questions, what's the quickest way to get an answer?
The quickest way to reach me is by text: 303-494-2200 I will respond as quickly as I can! Don't worry about texting I will not contact you for any other reason,
