Frequently asked questions
- 01As soon as you know what you would like to do! That way you can ensure you get the time you're looking for. Some locations or themes may dependent on time of year. For Senior portraits, my suggestion is to book your session during your Junior year to ensure you get the date that you want.
- 02I can go anywhere! I have a studio located just off I-25 and Dry Creek Rd. in Centennial Colorado. I can go on location anywhere you would like. If you're looking for ideas you can check out my galleries or social media and let me know which area interests you. If you have another location in mind, that's fine too! I can go local or anywhere else you choose, I've been all over the US for photoshoots.
- 03Yes you can bring as many changes of clothes time allows durning your session. Be prepared to turn your car into a dressing room, or use my pop up changing tent! Locations don’t always have a public restroom. Some locations have bushes you can go behind, be sure you have a lookout!
- 04Bring a suitcase full of options! I LOVE to help with outfits! We can talk about what you like and don’t like and put together your outfits. Your photos should represent YOU, and everyone is different! Your outfits should be what you feel beautiful wearing! I encourage a change of clothing that reflects your personal style. Casual is always a great selection, as frequently I will photograph seniors on the ground, steps, tree stumps... Clothing should be simple. Solid colors work generally best. If there are two or more people in the same photograph, similar colors or shades are preferable. Denim with white or black shirts can be very dramatic. Sometimes wild colors can be GREAT too! It all depends on what you're looking for! Bringing options always it the best option.
- 05You bet! Very few seniors are professional models, most of my images are just normal seniors and they all do great! I will show you poses and give you direction, so that you know exactly what to do. After a few minutes, you should feel comfortable in front of the camera and you will probably be coming up with your own poses! When that happens, those can be the best poses of the entire session!
- 06No, I do not turn in the images to the school for the yearbook. Once you let me know which image you would like for the yearbook I will retouch and size it for you. It is your responsibility to turn it in.
